Seed stage

Why «seed»? Because this stage is about the principal thing: there is the Idea, and it is sown as a seed. But whether this seed will germinate and grow, will the plant come up strong and sturdy or will it wither away in half a year — this is the matter of how the seed is looked after.

If your idea is worthy, if you know the market need which no one else has perceived yet, if you have an innovative solution how to satisfy this need, this is enough for us to invest up to $300K in your start-up at this very first stage of its existence. At this stage, we give priority to the projects targeting the CIS, European or US markets, or a combination of these markets.

 

Early stage

Smart start-ups at their early stage are like human babies: it's just the beginning, it's too early even for toddling, but this cute creature is definitely viable, and it's definitely human. Actually, this is what we're interested in when dealing with start-ups at their early stage: clear goal and understanding what exactly it will grow into. From our experience, most of the founders of such start-ups decide to develop products to solve the problems they themselves have.

If the goals of such a project would seem promising to us, we'd be ready to invest up to $1,000,000. We're interested in early stage projects targeting the CIS, European or US markets, or their combination. We can as well consider co-investing with other venture funds which can bring not only capital, but also substantial added value to the start-up.

 

Growth stage

At the growth stage, the project has already been realized, the business is a success and seeks after expansion.

We actively cooperate with successful Western web companies interested in CIS markets. By creating joint ventures with such companies we not only help in their development, we bring proven Western business models to our market.

 

From our part we provide:

  • deep understanding of the local market
  • skilled local team
  • investment of our own funds

 

Our preferred partners are the companies which

  • work successfully in Europe or USA for 5–10 years
  • have average revenue (USD 100M–300M) and high growth rates
  • positive EBITDA
